Career wisdom from my 13-year-old self
I used to be jealous of kids that had it all figured out.
You know the ones I'm talking about - those annoying friends that somehow knew they wanted to be a doctor, or police officer, or game designer, etc. They seemed to have no doubt and moved towards their goals relentlessly while the rest of us split our time between playing poker in school and sports outside of school.
Okay, maybe that was just me.
Today, I learned that I was one of those annoying kids! Completely unbeknownst to me, here's what my 13-year-old self was thinking about his future:
I went through my late teens and early twenties not knowing what I wanted to do with my life, yet by 25, I had somehow stumbled into precisely what my younger self had envisioned.
How cool is that?
